Kitching Lane

Kitching Lane is a green lane that runs North/South across much of the proposed development area. Kitching Lane is present in its current form on the 1731 map of the area. Used as a footpath and bridleway the ancient hedgerows on either side of the lane are rich in woody species. It has 11 different species of woody shrub including many standard oaks, making the walk pleasantly shady in the Summer sun.
